About this Hackathon
Canvathon Africa Canvathon Africa is Africa’s first Canva hackathon for university students and recent graduates. 🎓 21st - 23rd September: Learn Online • The virtual training is open to anyone registered. What you’ll learn: → Build your Brand Kit → Design Social Media Flyers → Create Websites with Canva Code 👥 Form Your Team • Create a team of 3 if you can attend the in-person event near your hub. • Submit your team for approval. 💡 3rd October: Design Day • Approved teams join the in-person event at their local hub. • Receive a real business brief on the day. • Compete with other teams using what you have learned. 🏆 Winners Are Crowned • The top teams are crowned Canvathon Africa winners. • Winners take home prizes.

Requirements
- Join or form a team of 3–3 members — solo entries are not accepted.
- Build your project during the official hacking period; pre-existing projects are not eligible.
- Submit a working demo or public repository link before the submission deadline.
- Register before 25 Sept 2026, 2:59 PM GMT to take part.
- Attend key sessions in Ghana or join the remote track online.
