About this Hackathon

Africa's first Canva hackathon. Students from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa learn Canva, solve real design challenges for local businesses, then compete in person at their local hub.

Requirements

• Join or form a team of 3–3 members — solo entries are not accepted.
• Build your project during the official hacking period; pre-existing projects are not eligible.
• Submit a working demo or public repository link before the submission deadline.
• Register before 24 Sept 2026, 1:00 PM WAT to take part.
• Attend in person in Nairobi, Nigeria for the duration of the event.

Each project is scored against every criterion; the weighted total decides the ranking.
