Who can participate?+
Anyone with an interest in building — students, professionals and first-time hackers are all welcome, at every skill level.
Do I need a team to enter?+
You can hack solo or in a team of up to 4. Head to the Teams tab to find teammates.
How much does it cost?+
Nothing — participating in hackathons on Hakanow is free.
When and where does it happen?+
It runs 14 Jun 2025 – 16 Jun 2025 in Accra, GH.
When is the registration deadline?+
Registration closes on 10 Jun 2025. After that you can still browse the event, but you won't be able to join.
How does judging work?+
A judging panel scores every submission against the weighted criteria listed on the Rules tab. Results are announced right here on Hakanow.
How are prizes handled?+
Hakanow coordinates prizes between organizers and winning teams — after results are announced, winners submit their payment preference and track settlement from their dashboard.
