Anyone with an interest in building — students, professionals and first-time hackers are all welcome, at every skill level.
Do I need a team to enter?+
Yes — this event requires teams of 2–56 members. Head to the Teams tab to find one.
How much does it cost?+
Nothing — participating in hackathons on Hakanow is free.
When and where does it happen?+
It runs 19 Jul 2026 – 6 Dec 2026 and takes place fully online.
When is the registration deadline?+
Registration closes on 20 Aug 2026. After that you can still browse the event, but you won't be able to join.
How does judging work?+
A judging panel scores every submission against the weighted criteria listed on the Rules tab. Results are announced right here on Hakanow.
How are prizes handled?+
Hakanow coordinates prizes between organizers and winning teams — after results are announced, winners submit their payment preference and track settlement from their dashboard.
